IIB is the Institute for Biomedical Research (Instituto de Investigaciones Biomedicas) and is located in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico.  The Institute originated in Tijuana, B.C., Mexico and currently offers the same programs and services as in Puerto Vallarta.  The Institute’s Center for Integrative Cancer Therapies was developed as a response to the great need for novel cancer immunotherapies and  opportunities for whole person healing. This offers a better quality of life and prolonged survival for cancer patients who have finished the conventional orthodox treatments but have the persistent risk of relapse due to Minimal Residual Disease.  This treatment is also for all those patients who have no hope because conventional treatment was unsuccessful or those who choose alternatives to chemotherapy and radiation.  It has been demonstrated that it is possible to double the patient’s survival time and provide a better quality of life for those who have advanced cancer activity versus patients who only have had orthodox treatments.
