Raul Morales, M.D., founded the Institute in 1999. Dr. Morales, Associate Professor of Hematology, is a graduate in Medicine of the University Of Guadalajara, Mexico. There he received his post-graduate training, Internal Medicine and sub-specialized in Hematology.
Dr. Morales then furthered his training at the National University of Mexico specializing in Hematology and Transfusional Medicine.

He is a member of the Mexican Society of Hematology, American Society of Hematology, International Society of Hematology, Association European of Hematology, American Association of Blood Banks, Mexican Council of Hematology,  et al.

Dr. Morales is an active academic representative of the University of Guadalajara; he has the responsibility of establishing relationships among Universities and other medical institutions with the purpose of exchanging knowledge and experiences in scientific and academic affairs.

Dr. Morales was invited as the keynote speaker to the 8th International Conference of Oncology, in Cairo, Egypt. He was invited by Professor Mofeed Shehab Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Suez Canal University and Cairo University in Egypt (April 2004).
